Job Summary
The Innovation Division of Eastern Health is establishing a Living Lab to develop and implement innovative ideas, methods, technologies and devices that align with the organization's strategic vision. The Living Lab will promote interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaborative research, open innovation and creativity. It will help create and redesign products and services, making sure to put users - patients and their families, the community, and health professionals - at the heart of the innovation process.

The Research Analyst will design user centered, rapid cycle evaluations to inform solution development and complete outcome-based evaluations using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods. The Research Analyst prepares research proposals for ethics approval; conducts literature searches; writes evaluation reports and prepares and presents research and/or evaluation findings; develops survey instruments; conducts interviews and focus groups; uses computer software programs including SPSS, Excel, and PowerPoint. Manages databases and assists with data verification and quality control, ensuring data integrity and consistency; performs statistical analysis and interpretation of results.

Job Qualifications

Completion of a Master's degree in a health sciences or social sciences discipline and/or an acceptable combination of education and experience. (e.g. epidemiology, community/public health, biostatistics or health economics, business, health administration).

Experience planning evaluation studies and conducting research and evaluation activities
Experience preparing reports for a variety of audiences
Experience prioritizing deliverables

Ability to manage, analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
Ability to think creatively and critically
Ability to manage time effectively
Excellent organizational and administrative skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point, SPSS
