Job Summary
The Medicine Program is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Division Manager to provide leadership for the Heamotolgoy / Oncology Divisions for the 35 bed inpatient unit located on 4NA, 18 bed Ambulatory Treatment Unit and the Stem Cell Transplant Program.

The Division Manager, reporting to the Regional Director Medicine Program, will be accountable for the efficient and effective planning, implementing, organizing, and evaluating patient-care activities of the Medicine services under the manager's responsibility as noted above. The Division Manager will be responsible for the quality of services provided, as well as the effective and efficient utilization of resources.

The Division Manager will work within the Eastern Health Leadership Framework with accountabilities to engage others and lead self, achieve results, develop coalitions and implement systems transformations within the assigned areas of responsibility. These include working within the Divisions lines of business, fiscal and resource stewardship, managing and developing staff, effective communication, quality and risk management and health workplace management.

Job Qualifications

A Baccalaureate Degree in a health related discipline is required.
Master's degree in the applicable area is preferred.

A minimum of five (5) years progressive leadership and management experience in Adult Acute Care.

Current registration/licensure in the relevant professional association is required.
