Travel Nursing Opportunity
Eastern Health is looking for experienced Registered Nurses interested in completing short-term nursing assignments in rural hospitals and long-term care locations throughout the region. Assignments are available in locations such as Bonavista, Grand Bank, St. Lawrence and Carbonear to name a few! Various durations of availability will be considered, with a minimum commitment of three weeks per assignment.

Job Demands
By applying for this job, you acknowledge an understanding that regular requirements and demands of this job include (but are not limited to):
- Constantly moves/lifts up to 10 lbs., regularly moves/lifts up to 25 lbs. and occasionally is required to restrain/reposition/move/lift up to 30 lbs. Pushes/pulls up to medium force.
- Constantly stands/walks and works in awkward or cramped positions to assist with procedures.
- Constantly uses fine finger/precision, auditory, sensory and visual concentration to provide and conduct risk assessments, observe/monitor patients, to complete documents, follow directions, administer medications, etc.
- May be subject to time pressures/deadlines and subject to lack of control over work pace.

Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved/recognized school of nursing.
- Current and active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL).
- Current BLS certification
- Experience is required (two (2) years within the past four (4) years is preferred). Applicants will be matched to clinical areas based on their experience in the following areas:
Long-term care
Medicine
Emergency
Obstetrics/Gynecology
- A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
- Successful candidates will be required to submit a Certificate of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check from the RCMP or local Police, education documents and Social Insurance Number

Compensation
Based area of practice and experience, in accordance with RNUNL Collective Agreement.
